About KreddyPay
KreddyPay is a technology platform that facilitates digital credit-payment management between distributors and retailers. KreddyPay is not a bank, financial institution, or lender unless specifically stated for a particular service offered in partnership with regulated financial institutions.

Subject to your consent, we may collect approximate or precise location information to verify business locations, prevent fraud, improve service delivery, and support onboarding and field verification processes.
How We Use Your Information
Creating accounts, onboarding, processing transactions, managing invoices, facilitating UPI mandates, customer support.
Evaluating transaction behaviour, generating credibility scores, monitoring repayment, detecting fraud.
OTPs, service notifications, transaction alerts, payment reminders, marketing communications (where permitted).
KYC verification, regulatory reporting, legal compliance, audit and risk management.
Analytics, performance monitoring, research, AI-enabled recommendations and insights.
Legal Basis for Processing

Banks, NBFCs, Lending Partners, Payment Aggregators, UPI Service Providers.

UPI AutoPay and Payment Data
Where you authorize UPI AutoPay or similar mandate-based payment services:
- Mandates are processed through authorized banking and payment partners;
- KreddyPay does not store UPI PINs;
- Sensitive payment credentials are processed by regulated payment service providers;
- Payment information may be shared with authorized partners solely for transaction processing and compliance purposes.
Pricing
Retailers can use the KreddyPay platform without any platform usage charges. No platform fee is charged to retailers for:
- Registering on the platform.
- Receiving and accepting invoices.
- Viewing repayment schedules.
- Making repayments through Kreddy Smart Pay (UPI AutoPay).
- Accessing transaction history and payment records.
Distributors using KreddyPay agree to pay a Platform Fee of 0.5% (Zero Point Five Percent) on the value of every eligible transaction processed through the KreddyPay platform. The Platform Fee is charged for the digital services provided by KreddyPay, including but not limited to:
- Digital invoice management.
- Retailer onboarding and verification.
- Kreddy Smart Pay (UPI AutoPay) mandate management.
- Automated payment collection and reconciliation.
- Transaction monitoring and reporting.
- Customer support and platform maintenance.
Platform Fee = 0.5% × Transaction Value
- Example:
- Transaction Value: ₹1,00,000
- Platform Fee (0.5%): ₹500
- Applicable GST (if any) will be charged separately as per prevailing laws..
The applicable platform fee may be:
- Deducted automatically from settlement amounts;
- Invoiced periodically; or
- Collected through any other payment mechanism communicated by KreddyPay.
KreddyPay reserves the right to revise, modify, introduce, or discontinue any pricing, fee structure, or charging methodology at its sole discretion.
Any material changes will be communicated through the KreddyPay platform, website, email, or other appropriate communication channels before becoming effective.
use of the platform after the effective date of the revised pricing shall constitute acceptance of the updated pricing.
Certain services integrated with the KreddyPay platform may involve third-party providers such as banks, payment service providers, UPI systems, or technology partners.
Any charges imposed directly by such third parties shall be governed by their respective terms and are separate from KreddyPay's platform fee.
All applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), shall be charged in addition to the platform fee wherever required under applicable law.
Refund
Payments made by retailers through KreddyPay, including payments collected via Kreddy Smart Pay (UPI AutoPay), are transferred towards settlement of outstanding invoices with the respective distributor. Once a payment has been successfully processed and settled to the distributor, it cannot be reversed or refunded by KreddyPay except where required under applicable law. KreddyPay acts solely as a technology platform for payment collection and is not responsible for disputes relating to the underlying commercial transaction.
- Payments are settled directly to the respective distributor.
- Successfully settled payments are generally non-reversible.
- Disputes relating to goods, invoices, shortages, damaged products, pricing, returns, cancellations, or credit notes must be resolved directly between the retailer and the distributor.
- KreddyPay is not responsible for product quality, supply, or commercial disputes.
Platform fees, convenience fees, subscription fees, UPI AutoPay mandate registration or reactivation charges, and other service charges are generally non-refundable once the service has been successfully provided. Refunds may be considered only where the issue arises due to payment processing errors or where required by applicable law.
- Duplicate payment caused by a technical error.
- Incorrect charge attributable solely to KreddyPay.
- Failed transaction where the amount was debited but the payment was not successfully processed.
- Failed UPI AutoPay mandate registration after successful debit.
- Refund required under applicable law.
Eligible Refund Scenarios:
- Duplicate payment caused by a technical error.
- The payment has already been settled to the distributor.
- The dispute relates to goods supplied or commercial arrangements.
- The claim is fraudulent, misleading, or unsupported by evidence.
- The request is made after an unreasonable delay without valid justification.
Refund Requests May Be Rejected If:
Customers requesting a refund should contact KreddyPay Support with the relevant transaction details for verification. KreddyPay may request additional information or supporting documents to process the refund request. Upon successful verification and approval, eligible refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5 business days.

- Reason for the refund request.
- Supporting documents or screenshots (if available).
Information Required:
- KreddyPay reserves the right to reject refund requests that do not meet this Refund Policy.
- This Refund Policy may be updated from time to time, and the latest version published on the KreddyPay website shall be effective from the date of publication.

AI and Analytics
KreddyPay may use automated systems, analytics, and artificial intelligence tools to:
- Generate business insights;
- Assess transaction patterns;
- Recommend credit limits;
- Improve fraud detection;
- Enhance platform performance.
Such systems assist decision-making but may not be the sole basis for any critical financial decision.
Data Retention
We retain information:
- As long as your account remains active;
- As required under applicable laws;
- For regulatory, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and compliance purposes.
Upon expiry of retention requirements, information may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived.
Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable safeguards including:
- Encryption of sensitive data;
- Secure cloud infrastructure;
- Access controls and authentication mechanisms;
- Network security monitoring;
- Periodic security reviews.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
